VIDEO: California Conservatives Are Moving By the Thousands; Here Is Why

California used to be the hub of free speech. In fact, The University of Berkeley was full of groups who pushed free speech no matter who the speaker was. However, things have changed. These days, if you do not share the same views as the liberals, you are coined a racist bigot.

This became apparent during the 2017 riots at Berkeley due to the conservative speakers trying to use their first amendment rights. Among the speakers were conservative, Anne Coulter, and former Breitbart editor Milo Yiannopoulos. Berkeley liberals exploded in violent protests, burning buildings and attacking anyone with a difference of opinion.

However, that is not the only reason conservatives are leaving California. According to the LATimes, the liberal indoctrination of the children has reached an all-time high. Understanding the universe of violations that this entails, conservatives are losing their parental rights to raise their own children as they see fit.

In California, any child that thinks differently than the liberal ideology receives punishment. The teachers spent large amounts of time pushing their own political beliefs. 90% of the time, the ideologies being pushed are contrary to the parents’ wishes. When the parents complain, they are largely ignored.

As horrid as all these sound, there is another reason conservatives are leaving. Reports say that homelessness is at record highs, and California taxes are astronomical. These are issues that are constantly being addressed to Gov. Jerry Brown, yet he ignores the problem.

Conservatives have had enough of the “Golden State,” and are headed mostly to Texas. Texas is majority Republican and that is attracting the conservatives who seek to leave California. Recently the Democrats claimed that the small blue wave, which quickly dwindled out, was in Texas to stay.

However, I believe that was a scare tactic to keep conservatives from moving there. As quickly as the Democrats made that statement, the so-called “blue wave” was flattened. To all you Texans out there, get ready for a bigger red wave than you have ever seen!
