Dennis Rodman is a hero!

Many people seem to forget that diplomacy is all about mutual respect and finding common ground. In this recent interview with the Good Morning Britain Rodman talks about Trump, Kim and how easy it could be if those two would start a dialog. Also really nice to see him wearing a hat of the cryptocurrency Potcoin!

I thought Dennis would avoid the spotlight after his first attempt to bring the topic to the American public failed. Really glad to see him back in action. The Reporters were also quite "weak", Rodman stated in the very beginning why he and Kim are friends: Not because Rodman wants to endorse the North Korean political system, but because they both love Basketball. Rodman lasts words "I want to straighten things out for everybody to get a long together" are a key mentality to stop the escalation of the NK conflict and fyi Kim Yong Un said the same in North Korean State TV.

There is also to keep in mind, that the sanctions against North Korea which prohibits NK to sell their natural resources, is a direct and indirect cause for the starvation in a country that has historically relied on importing food. North Korea would have enough money to pay for food, if they were allowed to freely sell their vast natural resources. To siege and starve the besieged is a really really old war tactic.

To be honest I was quite baffled how easy this story was sold to the people as "Dennis being an Idiot Traitor. Dennis Rodman a black professional Basketball player who loves to stand out with his piercings tattoos and sometimes female clothing, see those fab fingernails?

I am not a huge fan of Rodman's style, but isn't he the embodiment of the good part of the America dream? A land where anyone can be everything he wants. For Kim to be friends with Rodman but hating America shows to me that he does not really hate the american lifestyle but the geopolitical pressure the American Imperialism is exerting.

There seems to be something going on in the American media landscape... The Huffington Post made a quite positive article about this interview and actually most media outlets seems to take the last words ("Straighten things out") by Rodman as a headline... Wha-a-a-at is happening? Did the world become sane all of the sudden? Did Trump win the fight against the media and maybe even the swamp/deep state? I am confused but thrilled.
