Honestly I would agree, assuming the individual otherwise checks out and appears to be a good caregiver whether or not they may find the child romantically interesting or physically beautiful doesn't really hold any merit as a justification to ban them from adopting or working with children.

Obviously it's different if someone is a child molester, or does not appear to be a good caretaker otherwise.
