Prince Harry designed Meghan Markle’s engagement ring with Princes Diana’s diamonds collection.

After dating for more than one year, Prince Harry and Suits star Meghan Markle finally revealed their engagement news on 28 November 2017. In their engagement interview, they revealed a lot about their love story. They even revealed the fact that they were set up in a blind date. Soon they find themselves perfect for each other. Meghan said she flew to Botswana to spend time with Harry. Harry visited this place during his childhood. So this place is emotionally connected to him.
The couple made their first public appearance after their engagement. They were showered with gifts and chocolate and flowers. They spent half an hour taking to the fans. After that they spent some time on photo shoot. Meghan showed off her engagement ring with pride. This special ring was designed by Prince Harry. It was made by Cleave and Company. The center stone
The bigger stone at the middle is from Botswana. The couple had spent some quality time in this country. As this place is connected to Prince Harry’s childhood, it has some emotional value. Meghan showed off her ring during the photo call at Kensington Palace.
The other two stones
The central diamond is flanked by two diamonds. These two diamonds belong to Princess Diana’s collection. Princess Diana died on 31 August 1997. After her death, the Royal family inherited all of her jewelries. In 2010, Prince William and Catherine Middleton officially announced their engagement. Prince William gave his mother’s ring to Catherine Middleton. Now Prince Harry gives Meghan the ring that is related to his mother. So, it has become a tradition for the British family. Both of the Royal brides get something precious that is related to their mother-in-law.
