Taxation to pay the bankers. Until 1913 there was very little in the way of taxation. After the international bankers got their not so Federal Reserve, a means to pay them interest on their fake money needed implemented. But even then, it was mostly on the extremely wealthy (I believe it was those making over 5 million, which was a lot of money back then, guessing like Bill Gates type money).
It wasn't until the war to end all wars that they had ramped up borrowing so much they implemented the temporary Victory tax. Until this tax, less than 5% of Americans paid taxes, this rounded up 75% of American workers into paying taxes. Of course, this temporary tax has not only never been ended, new taxes are now continuously laid atop it.
It has been used to enslave not only those of us here now, but left this legacy for our children and their children. Meanwhile, certain classes at the bottom and top are picked to receive some of this sweat theft through subsidies, including many who are not even citizens of the nation. Those at the top as kickbacks and crony wealth building from the slaves, at the bottom to produce a segment of dependent idiot soldiers who will fight the skirmishes in the streets and polls to further erode any semblance of freedom we have left.
As mentioned in the video, the common arguments revolve around:
Think of the children, roads, schools, police, military etc.
Seems we got along for the most part ok without most of this theft. Property taxes, sales taxes, hidden taxes on products like alcohol, tobacco etc. Inflation. Income taxes. Capital gains taxes. Death taxes.
Meanwhile they pass more spending bills that most people don't want. History is filled with this story happening again and again, and it never ends well.
