Daimler announced the Ethereum IoT Summer Camp, August 2017!,

Participants learn how to connect Ethereum to real IoT products, focusing on connecting Ethereum to real IoT products.

"We provide a secure IoT hardware chip and teach you coding and how to program it — you develop Ethereum smart contracts, connect real products to it and code a frontend. From a business model perspective, this can yield endless possibilities.
Experts, lawyers and scholars — e.g. from well-known IOTA, ConsenSys, Status.im, Daimler, Commerzbank or an international law firm — will hold sessions to touch various facets of the intersection of IoT and blockchain."

Daimler (MErcedes-Benz) announced today the launch of a $110 million blockchain pilot.

“The entire transaction — from the origination, distribution, allocation and execution of the loan agreement to the confirmation of repayment and of interest payments — was digitally carried out via blockchain technology in cooperation with the IT subsidiaries TSS (Daimler) and Targens (LBBW),” a press release said.
