Facebook conceded Again, 3 Million User Data Leaks due to a Personality Quiz
No fewer than 3 million Facebook user data is exposed to websites with weak protection. With weak protection, user data can be easily accessed by unauthorized parties.
According to New Scientist, the data is taken from a popular personality quiz app called myPersonality. The "naked" data includes answers from questionnaires containing personal questions, such as online psychological test results.
"This type of data is very convincing and it is possible to be misused," said Chris Sumner of the Online Privacy Foundation.
However, the username reported is not mentioned anonymous alias. Some other identities such as age, gender, and relationship status are called exposed online. A total of 150,000 user status updates are even reported to be published.
