Welcome to Saudi Arabia for the 2019 WWE Crown Jewel showdown
It all started with a 20 man Battle Royal match where 20 WWE superstars battle for glory. It is a battle for who will become the number 1 contender for the United States championship. All superstars battled it out including superstars like Murphy and R-Truth. All were eliminated, leaving Humberto Carrillo as the last man standing.
R-Truth got eliminated but got his 24/7 championship back as he was fortunate to come across Singh.
Furry takes on Monster among men Braun Strowman. A brawl between these two vibrated the vibes of all WWE fans around the world. The gypsy king stood tall at the end of this matchup after Braun Strowman was counted out of the match outside the ring.
We moved into the next showdown in the ring.
The fight for the United States championship. AJ Stylez defended his title against the new boy in town, Humberto Carrillo.
The winner of the battle royal threw all he has into the matchup but the phenomena forearm prevailed. AJ retains his title.
A big step forward for the WWE women division as they featured in the Crown Jewel competition. History was made as Lacey Evans and Natalya were the first women to be featured in this paper view. Both competed professionally and entertaining and Natalya came out as the victor on this matchup. A big hug from both competitors as they congratulate each other and continue their friendship.
Up next, the 10 men tag team battle between two long-time rivals, Rick Flair and Hulk Horgan.
Team Flair made the first entrance, captained by the Viper Randy Orton while team Horgan followed, captained by the Big Dog Roman Reigns.
A fun-filled matchup it was and both teams were on top of their game.
Team Flair consist; Randy Orton, King Cobin, Shinsuke Nakamura, Bobby Lashley, and Drew McIntyre.
Team Horgan consist; Roman Reigns, Ricochet, Shorty G, Ali, and Rusev.
Team Horgan took the victory when the Big Dog delivered a spear to the Viper Randy Orton.
Let's go to hell as we look into this one between The Fiend and Seth Rollins for the Universal championship.
This match is scheduled for false count anywhere and cannot be stopped for any reason.
The match kicked off and immediately, The Fiend took the fight to Rollins.
Entertaining and horrifying, The Fiend and Seth Rollins dug it out between themselves and The Fiend continued to frustrate and terrify Seth Rollins.
Seth Rollins with the stomp twice, but unable to win The Fiend.
Stomps upon stomps, Seth Rollins delivered 8 stomps to The Fiend and even kicked The Fiend off the stage into the electrical section of the stage only for The Fiend to rise again and this time ending Seth Rollins reign as the Universal Champion.
