Whistle death by eating 8 kg of plastic bags

Rescuers in southern Thailand said that a pilot whale died after eating 80 plastic bags. At the time they tried to save the whale but could not save.

According to the BBC, the weight of plastic bags stored in the pilot whistle stomach was about 8 kg. The marine creature could not eat any food because of the bags.

Meanwhile, marine biologist Than Thamarangnawasat said, due to the bags inside the stomach, it was not possible to eat any nutritious food for whales. He said, if you have 80 plastic bags in your stomach you will die.

Pilot whale found on Monday as ill. Rescuers did not succeed in saving the whales while serving the week. The whale died on Friday afternoon.
