About Thomas Lemar, AS Monaco Give Challenge To Arsenal
Arsenal get answers from AS Monaco related interest in Thomas Lemar in the summer of 2017. AS Monaco challenged Arsenal to redeem Lemar at a price of 53 million pounds (Rp 914, 59 billion).
The new Arsenal broke the club's transfer record by bringing Alexandre Lacazette from Olympique Lyon with a total transfer value of 52 million pounds (Rp 897.33 billion). After Lacazette, Arsenal target Thomas Lemar as his newest hunt.
Previously, Arsenal have twice bid to AS Monaco. First bid of 30 million pounds (Rp 517.69) and second bid of 40 million pounds (Rp 690.26 billion).
But both of these offers have been rejected AS Monaco. Despite having two refusals, Arsenal did not give up. They are preparing a third bid to bring Lemar to Emirates.
However, Arsenal got a surprising answer from AS Monaco. The French club is challenging Arsenal to re-break the transfer if you want to recruit Lemar.
AS Monaco set a price of £ 53 million. The price is higher 1 million pounds from the price Lacazette.
The action of AS Monaco is like harassing Arsenal who so want to bring in Lemar. However, US Monaco's move to fence off its players is understandable as they will struggle in the Champions League and try to defend their Ligue 1 title next season.
Previously, AS Monaco has lost Bernardo Silva who brought Manchester City and Tiemoue Bakayoko are getting closer to Chelsea.
