Welcome to the 48th State of the Sndbox newsletter!
This past week, we gave updates on The Crypto Renaissance Exhibition, announced winners of the Crypto Renaissance Design Competition, and gave some marketing teasers on our gallery display and pamphlet. We got hyped about over crypto-swag, helped artists start out on Musicoin, released the first installation of our weekly Creative Crypto Newsletter, and hosted our 13th Art & Design Challenge.
The Crypto Renaissance - A Steem Exhibition in NYC
As we prepare for the event, we’ll be sharing mockups of our open source exhibition boards for Utopian, Fundition, Dtube and more Steem DApps. In the works are exhibition design materials for @dlive, @steepshot, and a number of key projects like @busy and @steempayco.
You can be part of our Exhibition and contribute to help fund the exhibit by being part of the "DONOR WALL" where Steemians can integrate their names into the gallery facade. The Crypto Renaissance - Utopian and Fundition Mockup
The exhibition will feature large scale boards that document Steem and Sndbox community projects and apps active across the blockchain. An interactive centerpiece, the DAPP Tower, will feature Steem apps that visitors can browse real time.

Steem Quick-Start Pamphlet
The upcoming Crypto Renaissance exhibition will showcase the Steem blockchain and its decentralized applications. An informative Exhibition Pamphlet will be in circulation during the exhibition, containing exhibition details and an introduction to the Steem blockchain. With this post, we're asking YOU for your favorite links, resources, infographics and descriptions of all things Steem that will comprise the contents of the Exhibition Pamphlet. Surveying and 3D-Modeling the Gallery
@exhibition is a community account to be used for events, galleries, workshops, marketing, presentations, and meetups.
We are getting preparations under way as we get ready to visualize the gallery area and plan out the components of the exhibition. The exciting placement of the tower that showcases the Sndbox symbol is seen in 3D model standing high at 6'-9' and will provide information from various subjects on each side of the wall with potentially interactive iPads in front. We anticipate lots of exposure since the building facade is mostly glass opening up the exhibition space to the public.

The Crypto Renaissance Poster Winners

Last week, we announced a Steem-powered Design Competition for our first gallery exhibit poster and collateral that will revolve around power of Steem's decentralized applications and the experiences of our first cohort while touching point on their empowered Sndbox projects. Three winning posters were chosen to represent and promote the exhibit.
@aaronhong's creative use of the Fibonacci sequence is a crucial component to the exhibition as it takes first place and will be used on publicity and marketing collateral. In 2nd and 3rd place are @happyksu with an energetic entry and @albert0davila with a 21st century rendition respectively.
We also loved @johnbird's fantastic composition, @miguelguacamaya2's mathematically inclined composition, @ceheiberg's dynamic combination of elements, @mbell's contemporary creation, and @artgirl's feel-good, family friendly piece.

CryptoRenaissance Art & Design Challenge
The Crypto Renaissance full-scale exhibition will be interactive to better educate the New York public about the Steem blockchain. Professional graphics and step-by-step explanations will be used. Sndbox projects and the empowerment of our incubator members within the Steem ecosystem will be highlighted.
The 13th Crypto Art & Design Challenge will help to promote and broadcast the Crypto Renaissance exhibition both on and offline! This time, the challenge is for artists and creatives to transform the Crypto Renaissance text in the likes of Picasso, Van Gogh, David Hockney, Michelangelo or any style that suits this huge event.

Creative Crypto Billboard Project
The Creative Crypto Billboard (@cc-billboard) is a new feature on The Creative Crypto magazine site that works on content submissions. Keep yourself in the loop about Blockchain related topics on the billboard.
On @cc-billboard, we shared article submissions about Steem Decentralized apps including SteemMonsters, Dtube, Utopian, DLive, and Steepshot. We also assisted a Musicoin contest and featured Cryptanical Art and Spanish articles about the blockchain.
