This Week in the Sndbox
Welcome to the 37th State of the Sndbox newsletter! This week, we’ve been preparing graphics for this weekend’s London Cryptocurrency Show, hosting new competitions around crypto, spotlighting major contributing Steemians, and posting brand new material from the @creativecrypto magazine!
For a more thorough breakdown of what our members have been up to, be sure to go through our weekly Sndbox Selections of the Week and Sndbox Project Update posts that we publish each Monday.
Showcasing the Power of Steem
Everyone on Steemit is excited for this month’s London Cryptocurrency Show on April 14, especially as enthusiastic Steemians @stephenkendal, @starkerz and @creatocracy who have reserved and prepared a full booth to showcase all the major projects on the Steem blockchain! @starkerz has asked us to prepare a handful of slides that showcase the incubator’s work and our visualizations of Steem’s prowess. See all the prepared slides, many of which will be used in their main presentation, here.
Crypto Logo Design Competitions
Each week, we launch a @sndbox competition for Steemians to re-represent the aesthetic of major cryptocurrencies. We’ve asked the question “what would the logo look like if a famous artist, living or deceased, were to have created the logo in their style?” So far we’ve received incredible entries that reinvent Bitcoin and Ethereum’s logos. Last week, we showcased the winners of the Ethereum competition. Check out the full roster of winning entries here.
Following that, we announced the call to redo Ripple for the next iteration. All entries are due by tonight, 10pm EST so be sure to get your posts in before then!
Steemian Spotlight Interviews
Within @sndbox, we’ve asked our members to help us find major players in Steemit that are really able to leverage the tech and community to Steem-power their personal initiatives and ambitions. This week, @meanmommy33 hung out with gamer and community organizer @vishire to learn more of his involvement with 29 Steemit communities and his main contributions to @peopleofthenight. Read the full interview here.
Next, @ayijufridar talks with Indonesian leader and mobilizer @mariska.lubis to pick her brain on all her thoughts, concerns, experiences, and hopes for both the Indonesia community and all Steemians at large to establish a productive decentralized future. Read the full interview here.
Creative Conversations on Crypto-Impact, New Account Voting-Bot, and Article by @natureofbeing
As we prepare for the launch The Creative Crypto’s website, we’ve already begun major articles and activities with the account. Last week, we took some of the major conversations from our talk at the Con Artist Collective in New York City and composed a formal Q&A article for all creative professionals new to cryptocurrency and blockchain. Join the conversation here.
This past week, we also delegated 25,000 SP to the @creativecrypto account and implemented a precise voting bot that looks to uncover and support some of the more underrepresented creative content on Steemit. We’ve set guidelines to prevent abuse and to actively seek out productive members in the community that deserve more support. See the full plan here.
Finally - and we’ve save the best for last - we asked prominent Steemit artist @natureofbeing to share her experiences with integrating Steemit into her life and professional career. Her account is a terrific story of discovery and growth and we had the honor of showcasing her incredible work. See the full article here.

What label must be used to receive a vote from the bot?
There are so many activities that I don't know where they get their time and ideas, you can see that they are working hard to benefit the community, I am happy to see how projects support other projects in order to find the best reward strategies for the small steemians who do not see our effort valued, many activities deserve applause, I appreciate that they are there working hard for us, my respect.
Excuse my English, I use a translator.
