This Week in the Sndbox
Welcome to the 35th State of the Sndbox newsletter! This past week, we shared the results of our Bitcoin Logo Art Challenge, photos of the park that Blockchain built, a great Korean ad about Steemit and chicken, a cool challenge about sharing cultures from all over the world, project updates, details on the Con Artist Collective, and our monthly State of the Sndbox thumbnail competition.

Getting Creative with Bitcoin
Inspired by an article on how most cryptocurrencies get their eccentric names, we launched a call for Bitcoin and Art to come together through a Logo Art Challenge. Our favorites look like they seriously belong to an Art Gallery, drawing inspiration from the likes of Salvador Dali and Takashi Murakami.

Project Updates on Education, Marketing, Art + Empowerment
A walkthrough of empowering projects on the blockchain starting with @kr-marketing that gives us cryptocurrency information that is great both on and offline as prints. Next up is @blockmountain with their Steemit community powered music album and their call for Artists, Creatives and Performers to join them. @phillyhistory is a graduate level history seminar formed by 17 students who are leveraging the Steemit platform to blog, document and share their ongoing research for the seminar. Community planning and housing in South Africa is @urban-thinktank 's project. The Musicianís Guide by @mattsokol aims to onboard more music professionals on Steemit. Lastly, @mrblinddraw's #whisper Gallery which calls upon artists to interpret art of different media, passed along like the game "telephone."
