Exposure to Monsanto’s RoundUp chemical up 500% over 20 yrs
Human exposure to glyphosate ‒ the key ingredient in Monsanto’s weed-killing products like Roundup ‒ has increased 500 percent in the past two decades, according to a new study. Exposure levels to the chemical, which the World Health Organization has classified as probably carcinogenic, are especially high in older Americans. Alexis Baden-Mayer, the political director for the Organic Consumers Association, discusses the study and its implications with RT America’s Ashlee Banks.
