Where are the fathers? Bill O'Reilly was described as an absent father as well. Why are these conservative thugs unable to take care of their kids?
Well, for Trump I'd argue it's hereditary. Look at how he acts: classic daddy issues; and his family talks about he was literally entirely absent for their whole childhood... add to that the mondo boots to fill, and you got a recipe for disaster.
Which would also explain why the apple fell so far from the tree in terms of the skill gap between generations.
