Thugs handling healthcare

Health care professionals are considered to be next to God's and hold an important position in the society. They are the ones who people believe in when their health doesn't support them, but unfortunately there are lot of thugs who are not qualified as foctors, but still play with people's sentiments and life.

Recently in the northern Indian state of Jharkhand, a disguised doctor took wrong advantage of people's trust on him. To prove himself right he put at risk the life of a young woman and also killed her new born child.

The woman who was due for a late scan in the 8th month of her pregnancy. When she went in for the scan, the doctor told her that she is carrying a girl and needs an emergency cesarian to get the baby out.

The woman and her family who believed in doctors qualifications (which he claimed he had) gave in and told him to go by what he thinks is right. The woman was operated upon and she gave birth to a healthy son. The doctor was now scared that the woman would tarnish his image for his scan judgement went wrong and he definitely didn't want that to happen.

What he did to save his face is really spine chilling. He slit the new born baby's genitals to prove that the baby was born with birth defects and was actually a girl. The baby bled to death and could not be saved. The woman's mother who happens to witness the thug doctors barbaric act raised an alarm. The doctor fled from the scene and is now untraceable.

The country has a ban on sex determination tests, but still there are some secret clinics that do tests in exchange for money. Quacks take full advantage of people's gree to make some quick bucks. This young woman lost her new born baby all due to this quack.
