The Moon Landed in Kolkata .
Amazing view of the moon that have descended on earth in the city kolkata, India made a flood of crowd in the lawns of Victoria Memorial. This giant replica of the moon has been made by imagery from the National Aeronautics and space Administration's ( NASA) Lunar
Reconnaissance orbiter camera.

This project of British council , supported by the Ministry of Culture is named 'Museum of the Moon' .
In partnership with UK space agency this project became an important project for the british council as it merges science with arts ; and this artwork aims in generate interest among the youngsters towards astrology.

The replica is 23 ft wide and has been made by british artist Luke Jerram.This installation has been put on display at the northern gate of the Victoria Memorial Hall for the visitors.
