Agreement between Uber and Nasa for the development of flying taxis

Thanks to the use of the systems developed by NASA, Uber will be able to create a simulation platform that in 2020 will allow it to carry out the first tests announced also in this opportunity, in order to achieve its goal of having flying vehicles in 2023.

The alliance is that Uber will provide details about its flying taxi so that NASA can use them as a base in flight simulations. Traffic and airspace management will be some of the aspects on which the collaboration between the platform and the space agency will be based.

It must be said that the project called "Uber Air" will consist of a fleet of flying taxis that, although they will initially be piloted, are later expected to be completely autonomous.
