Government of Aceh Appreciation of Film Efficacy Admiral Malahayati

Part 1.

Banda Aceh - The Aceh Government has appreciated the plans for the film, Admiral Keumalahayati. As a very strong female warrior figure, this cinema is expected to inspire movie lovers in the country.

This was conveyed by Vice Governor of Aceh Nova Iriansyah, while receiving the visit of the General Chairman of Indonesian Artist Association (Parfi), Marcella Zalianty, at Meuligoe Vice Governor of Aceh, in Banda Aceh, Friday 4 May 2018 night.

We welcome what will be done, both commercially, in terms of history and cinematography. Of course this is a very positive thing, in terms of business should also be positive. With the production of quality films, then the film Indonesia really to host in their own country, said Vice Governor.

Vice Governor Nova said the Aceh Government is very supportive of various activities aimed at exploring the history of Malahayati, resulting in a good and quality film and educational value. We also hope that the film Admiral Malahayati is able to inspire all young generations of Indonesia, Nova said.

Marcella and the team are in Aceh to hold Focus Group Discussion (FGD) related to the cultivation of Laksamana Keumalahayati. A number of Acehnese historians are scheduled to fill the event, among them Rusdi Sufi, Chairman of the Regional Education Council, and Chairman of the Aceh Traditional Council.

Indonesia is always identified with its maritime power. So, the cultivation of this film is expected to show a portrait of our maritime power since the first. We are optimistic, Keumalahayati figure, as a world's first female admiral will be very inspiring, Marcella said.

Film Admiral Malahayati will be the cultivation of the first marine war film in the country. This is because Malahayati is rated as the first female admiral in the modern era.
