1200 safety takers removed from the virus in the Olympics
Over 1,200 security guards have been evacuated from the Winter Olympics held in Pyongyang, South Korea. Naurus virus spreads over a large scale, the authorities said. South Korean authorities confirmed the matter Tuesday, AFP reported.
On Sunday, 41 people became ill with these security personnel. Suddenly their vomiting and diarrhea started. They were taken to hospital quickly. After the test, it is found that most of them are infected with Nero virus.
Naurus virus is very contagious. It spread quickly through food and water pollution.
An official of the Pyongchang Olympic Organizing Committee told AFP that 1,000 security guards were removed from the duties. 900 soldiers were appointed in their place. Health authorities are investigating the source of the virus.
Security workers are a member of a security organization. They were kept away from their athletes at a different center.
