In memory of our dear friend

Just to let all me stemian friends know that our dear friend sadly passed away today from her fight with cancer.....

It is now 11:16pm South African amd just thinking about the day. We actually had an awesome opportunity to take our friend to chemo today and man was it and emotional one. We dont always realise how we can touch anothers persons life by just being there in the bad times as well as in the good times.

We arrived quite early this morning at the office of oncology and i was shocked to see how people are affected by this cancer. I saw all types of people from young to hold walking in through those doors and one thing im sure of cancer knows no age nor is it moved by what you own. What really saddened me was the fact that this disease is used as a money magnet by doctors and the pharma monsters. How do you justify paying R28000 equivalent $3200 for a chemo injection how is that possible.

My question is this where have we missed it in society that we would allow this brazin thievery how do we stop this monster.

Thanks to all my stemian friends that gave and will still continue to give in benefit of my friend. She looked a little better today and we still have hope.

Today you made me really feel like im part of a great community.
