Be Careful With Bittrex! Big Changes Coming!

Many of you are probably aware that Bittrex had applied for a BitLicense. This is a special regulation that is put in place whenever a U.S. based exchange plans to incorporate FIAT trading within their platform. Well, this means that anyone who is not VERIFIED will no longer be able to trade on their website AND everyone that is verified will have to REVERIFY!

So, if you've been doing crypto-to-crypto trading on Bittrex, you're still going to need to verify because you'll have the option to trade your crypto to fiat. This is just the nature of the beast.

When emailed asking for more information, they gave this reply.

"The inclusion of new services like fiat and margin will mandate stricter identify verification and limits across the site. However, we are working with our legal team to still offer limited service to our users who want to remain anonymous. We're not ready to make an official statement on this yet."

So why is this important for you to know? Well, if you're like me and you signed up with a fake name, you might not be able to verify using those credentials. If you want to stay anonymous, I would recommend using other exchanges that don't necessitate identity verification.

Additionally, I don't know what will happen with any crypto you are currently holding in your wallets. There might be a situation where you can't withdraw your crypto until you verify. This is me speculating, but I can see something like this happening.
