Lebaran Holiday Increases So Seven Days

JAKARTA - The government adds the day of leave with Lebaran 2018. The addition is stated in the Joint Decree signed by three ministers, namely: Minister of Religious Affairs Lukman Hakim Saifuddin, Menakertrans Hanif Dakhiri, and Menpan & RB Asman Abnur.

The signing of the LCS took place at the Office of the Ministry of Human Resource Development and Culture (PMK). Witnessed, Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs Puan Maharani and Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi.

On this occasion, the government added two days of joint leave before Idul Fitri, which is June 11 and 12, and added one day after Idul Fitri Idul Fitri, on June 20, 2018, said PMK Puan Maharani at Kemenko PMK office, Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat, Central Jakarta.

According to Puan, the decision to add joint leave is taken, based on the needs of the community, especially related to the flow of homecoming that usually happens to accumulate on the last day before Idul Fitri.

The purpose of the addition of this leave is one of them is to unravel the flow of homecoming that usually occurs severe congestion before Lebaran due to short leave time, said Puan in his introduction.

Previously, the government set a four-day sabbatical, ie: 13,14,18,19 June 2018. The new SKB sets additional leave to 11, 12, 13, 14, 18, 19, June 20, 2018, totaling to 7 days.
