It is absolutely scary how our freedom is traded in for another agenda. This, together with some other stuff they introduced earlier, made me decide not to travel to the USA anymore.
And I hate it, because I love the country. Heck, I even got married in Las Vegas.
But is simple to bypass. Just install your own server with a web-wallet and make in solely accessible via VPN, presto.
But just the hassle, plus the fact that they already get just about all our information from Europe, makes me think hard and long about ever going back to the USA again.
to be honest, I have not been interested in visiting that country for a long time. Too unwelcoming
I've been weary of going there myself lately and now this.. They're not helping themselves. Isn't their tourism going to be affected by shit like this?

This makes no sense. Correct me if I'm wrong but pretty much any cryptocurrency can be transferred to an online wallet then accessed and used from any where in the world.
Who walks around with their entire crytpo portfolio on a single device? And even if they discover bitcoin for instance on your phone, they can t do anything about it...change it, seize it....nuffin...
Even if they take your equipment, the blockchain makes it easy to simply reestablish it on a new phone etc...
This seems like a silly attempt at control by people who are clueless.

What's is there stop the transfer cpryto to someone who has already gone through security. Absolutely nothing...
I also read through some of the bill itself and it appears to me that its the crypto exchanges they are after. Positioning them as facilitators of an illegal transfer of funds across international borders. This makes more sense.
My guess, etherium/big-banking is taking a run at bitcoin via washington.
