Fragmentality : Futurist construction
Much as Steemit is an interesting model of collaboration, curation and sharing as an open source activity/currency method of achieving positive results that can improve for an entire community, there are some interesting ideas being tested for the sharing of knowledge, particularly in traditional manufacturing techniques..
Withe the second industrial revolution well on its way to becoming a reality, it's important to visualise how to transistion from a world where cash is king and decides who has what, into a world where resources and the ability to capitalise on good ideas is available to all..
the community here is a great testament to the power of people who can embrace a new way of achieving, and i'll be regularly planposting various other disruptive technological developments that pique my interest here regularly, starting with this...
Tackling ecological issues such as the problems caused by concrete technology and how to revive the timber industry as part of a carbon capture and storage and embracing modern computer aided design along with additive manufacturing in this open source project.
WOOD is the answer to EVERYTHING. Check this idea out: https://steemit.com/futurism/@pavezi/ultimate-crypto-mining-factory-design
nice idea, dont forget, new solar tech allows even siberian winter daylight to harness solar!!
keep me updated when you mpost more concepts please ;)
don't have the links (see Allan Savory) at hand but a restoration of grasslands through intensive rotational grazing can sequester more carbon than returning to wood although i think we should be doing both. healthy forests also helps create healthy grasslands and other enviroments.
