Meghan Markle’s Classic Wedding Dress and Her No-Makeup Makeup

Prince Harry came to the designer and said, “Oh my God! Thank you. She looks absolutely stunning”.  

On her big day, Meghan Markle surprised and allured public’s eyes with her minimalist yet flawless look. She was effortlessly gorgeous! Her dress was a delighting topic to follow, at least for me. Previously, nobody knew who would be taking chart in designing her dress. On 19 May 2018, she showed up wearing Givenchy. A white, silk dress with an open neckline made by a British designer who was the first female artistic directorl under the label, Clare Waight Kaller.

Since the beginning, she wanted a classic yet simple dress with a modern twist. Something whimsical and romantic.

She wore a tiara lent by the Queen that firstly made for Queen Mary in 1932. At the center of the tiara, there was a detachable brooch made from 10 diamonds. The brooch was a gift from King George V in 1893 to Princess Mary who later became his wife.

Oh, wait.. Her bracelet and stud earrings were also subtle in luxurious way. They are from Cartier!.

The speculation had been around for months wondering if she would blush her face by herself just like Kate Middleton did. We know now, her makeup-artist friend helped her. It looked like she wore no makeup, but people love it.

Her veil made from a 5-metre long silk tulle, hand-embroidered with flowers including wintersweet flower that grows around Kensington Palace and California Poppy to represent Markle’s place of birth.

Her hand bouquet was a tribute to Prince Harry’s mother, Princess Diana. It was arranged with jasmine, sprigs of myrtles and flowers that hand-picked by the husband himself. How sweet!
