US military presence in Syria is illegal: Russia.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that US military presence in Syria is illegal and contrary to UN sanctions. Sergei Lavrov said this in response to a statement by US President Donald Trump about the withdrawal of troops from Syria.
He said that President Trump has given the statement about the withdrawal of US troops from Syria, it is believed that he is committed to his previous statement.
Lavrov also said that the United States special forces and air forces sent to Syria are unlawful and the United States has formed a coalition in the name of the Syrian conflict.
He said that these actions of US violations of the UN Charter should be respected for the sovereignty and geographical integrity of all countries.
US officials have repeatedly claimed that they do not want to share Syria, but the Russian government did not believe the statements of US officials. Moscow thinks that the US government wants to dismantle Syrian and plans to establish permanent bases there.
