FDA Sets Sight On Homeopathy, Part Of Larger Plan to Protect Big Pharma

After years of accusing homeopathics as being worthless placebos, the FDA is going after homeopathics as though they are dangerous materials

It seems the FDA is doubling down in its wild jihad against natural and alternative health products, individual choice and anything that threatens Big Pharma’s profits and control.

After years of claiming that homeopathy is an ineffective placebo, the FDA is now claiming that it’s dangerous. The FDA has announced plans to crack down on the sale of a number of homeopathic products.

“In recent years, we’ve seen a large uptick in products labeled as homeopathic that are being marketed for a wide array of diseases and conditions, from the common cold to cancer,” FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb said in a statement announcing the new policy.

“In many cases, people may be placing their trust and money in therapies that may bring little to no benefit in combating serious ailments, or worse — that may cause significant and even irreparable harm because the products are poorly manufactured, or contain active ingredients that aren’t adequately tested or disclosed to patients,” Gottlieb says.

Naturally, con-men like Paul Offit are jumping on the bandwagon, labeling homeopathic manufacturers as snake oil salesmen and rejoicing over the coming holy war being launched by his fellow fanatics who believe that only doctors, successful CEOs and bureaucrats are capable of making choices for individuals. As always, Offit fails to mention how his very existence as a “professional” is due to a lifetime of sucking at Big Pharma’s tit. But that’s another article for another day.

The FDA is trying to downplay its jihad and reassure Americans that its crackdown will not affect most homeopathic products – but that’s not the reality.

The new draft guidance will be subjecting homeopathic medicines “to the same approval requirements as other drugs.” This is curious language since the FDA claims that only a drug can cure or prevent a disease. So by labeling homeopathics as drugs, is the FDA admitting that homeopathics can cure or prevent a disease? It’s all a bit confusing which could lead some people to suspect that perhaps the FDA is just simply doing whatever it can to go after homeopathics and protect its Big Pharma patrons from competition.

The agency even admits that it is going to focus on what it considers to be potentially dangerous products first but clearly will be focusing on other homeopathic products as time moves forward.

Like clockwork, the FDA is claiming that it is seeing an uptick in calls and complaints about homeopathic products just like it has seen an uptick in calls and complaints regarding kratom, herbal supplements and marijuana conveniently right before it begins a massive crackdown on individual choice.

Homeopathics have been used for hundreds of years with no epidemic of death or side effects. How did humanity survive without the FDA? And why are side effects or deaths occurring from homeopathy now?

One of the most heavily circulated cases is that of Blane Talbot, a two-month-old boy whose mom was allegedly giving him Hyland’s teething tablets to calm him down. The boy began suffering from seizures which neurologists could not explain. The boy’s mother, the FDA and parasites like Offit blamed the tablets, but admittedly neurologists could not explain his seizures and no one can link those seizures to them. But that hasn’t stopped the media, the FDA or Offit-style bottom feeders from screaming at the top of their lungs that the tablets are responsible for Blane’s seizures and developmental delays. It could have been a coincidence that he was taking the tablets or it could have been something else. Correlation does not equal causation, right?

But while we are on the subject of correlation and causation and immediately believing mothers who have injured children, following the FDA, Paul Offit and the media’s logic – the FDA should immediately call on all Americans to stop using vaccines. After all, we could fill stadiums with the mothers who have given their children vaccines and watched them go through incredible distress and developmental delays directly afterwards. In their case, however, Big Pharma prostitutes like Paul Offit launch smear campaigns, attack them, and do everything they can to keep them silent.

Of course, if the products really were to blame or if they really contained dangerous amounts of belladonna (they’re not supposed to, that’s not how homeopathy works) then the FDA should focus on the company that manufactured them. If there really is some type of potential side effect, no reasonable person would have a problem with requiring the companies to inform the consumer. But that’s not what the FDA is interested in.

This latest attack on homeopathy is moving in lock step with the attacks that are taking place in Europe and Australia. As Western countries continue to pull the Iron Curtain closed upon itself, the time in which the citizens of those countries will be able to stand up for their own personal rights is getting shorter and shorter.
