@nathanmars, I am just curious. Do you think Minds is a threat to Steemit? I used to follow Max Kaiser on Steemit, and once he said Minds is better. What do you personally think?
Only STEEM has the community and it takes years to build community and ecosystem.
Remember the DApps are the future and if any project that looking to build a foundation then they should use STEEM and then release SMT or move to different blockchain... As long as they don't betrayed Steem community like Dlive did.
I wish all the best to Minds and I'll be happy to see if they do AirDrops for Dtube users :)
Also in the future the Dapps can me run on any blockchain like we've apps that we can use with IOS and Android.
For me as I tend to think in years.. (long term) we'll have many killer Dapps will be survive and most will just merge together. like Facebook bought Whatsapp and Instagram..
No.... they can happily coexist and even benefit from each other. However it certainly may be a hard competitor to Facebook-ish dapps like Busy.org. I am user of both and if you want an replacement for Facebook, for now- Minds is better (simply because people use it that way). However their video sharing service is nowhere near as good as D.tube
