JAKARTA - Senior investigator of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Novel Baswedan, will disclose the involvement of unscrupulous generals in the case of hard watering terror, after the formation of the Joint Fact Finding Team (TGPF).
This was conveyed by the advocacy team of Novel Baswedan, Alghiffari Aqsa following the examination of the KPK senior investigator by the Police, on Monday 14 August 2017, at the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore.
"Novel conveyed that he would only open the name of the general if a Joint Fact Finding Team (TGPF) was formed," Alghif-Alghiffari-familiar greeting said when it was confirmed on Tuesday (15/08/2017).
According to Alghif, the explanation from Novel as a witness or victim in the case of a splash of hard water on yesterday's inspection, is sufficient enough to reveal the puppeteer and the perpetrator.
"We also feel the information Novel is enough because there are many witnesses who are not seriously experienced by the police," he said.
He added that the ranks of the police have not been serious in solving the case that befell Novel. The reason, there are still many witnesses that are not investigated by Koray Bhayangkara investigators.
"If the witnesses have been properly investigated, then the Novel statement is actually enough," he explained.
Previously, the police had conducted a check on the KPK senior investigator, Novel, at the Indonesian embassy in Singapore accompanied by a team of law firms, advocacy team, and KPK leaders, on Monday 14 August 2017.
In the examination, Novel also had expressed his disappointment against the Bhayangkara Corps. Novel disappointment is related to the investigation process of the case of the watering of hard water that made him suffered severe eye damage.
"Novel said he was disappointed that key witnesses were published by police. The police should protect and safeguard key witnesses, in order to provide good and safe information, "Alghiffari said.
As known, Novel got the terror of watering hard water by an unknown person after running Salat Subuh in a mosque in his village in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, on April 11, 2017.
As a result, Novel suffered severe eye damage to be rushed to eye hospital in Singapore. Currently, Novel has been doing medical treatment more than three months in hospital in Singapore.
