Putin says Israel is threatened if Iran nuclear deal collapses

Russian President Vladimir Putin warned of the dangerous effects if Iran's nuclear deal in 2015 actually collapsed. If that happens, he said, Iran could continue its nuclear program which would pose a new threat to Israel's security.
Putin strongly criticized the US decision to withdraw from the deal.
"We can not solve the problem with North Korea Do we want other problems on the same scale?" Putin asked in a business forum in St Petersburg on Friday.
The Kremlin leader said the US withdrawal from the 2015 accord came even as international nuclear watchdogs confirmed Tehran fulfilled its obligations. "Then what should be punished?" Putin asked again.
The administration of President Donald Trump has demanded that Iran halt uranium enrichment and end its involvement in Syria, Yemen, Lebanon and Afghanistan to negotiate a new deal.
"If an international agreement is revised every four years, it will offer zero horizons for planning," Putin said. "This will create a nervous atmosphere and lack of trust."
