IS retakes parts of Syrian town after major attack
BEIRUT: The militant Islamic nation institution seized elements of a key city on the Syrian-Iraqi border on Friday in a huge operation that further confirmed the militants remain a force at the ground.
IS used at least 10 suicide bombers in its offensive on Albu Kamal, which lies in he Euphrates Valley in jap Syria and unexpectedly took several neighbourhoods, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights stated.
The offensive is the trendy in a string of IS attacks which affirm predictions that the militant company could stay a chance even after the collapse of its “caliphate” remaining 12 months.
