We Live In A World Where Common Sense Is No Longer Common

in #news7 years ago

We live in a world where common sense is no longer common.

Where what is right is mocked and what is stupid is praised.

A world full of people so sensitive that they forgot that they aren't the center of the universe.

How's the old proverb go? "Correct a wise man and he will love you. Correct a fool and he will hate you." You are living in the worst of times but you are also living in the best of times.

Ironic isn't it?

Never has there been so much opportunity. And never has there been so many self-centered narcissists to get in your way.

Trust me. If you make a million dollars someone close to you right now is ready to trick you and steal it from you. It might be a family member… might be a supposed friend.

As you rise up you will be misunderstood. You would be called names. As Gandhi said, "First they will ignore you, then they will laugh at you, then they will hate you."

And only if you have the strength to persevere, will you get to the final stage: when they will love you.

They’ll love you for your strength and for your good heart that reaches out to help them.

When you oppose the status quo, you will be called a liar, a fool, a scam.

The great humans of our world, Martin Luther King Jr., Abraham Lincoln, and Gandhi, opposed the system and they were shot in the head for it.

While I wish that on no one, you must be prepared for the fight and the struggle.

Remember what Thoreau said, "the mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation. What is called resignation is confirmed desperation."

Rise up in spite of the desperation of the masses.

As I popped into the world of social media a few years ago I expected people to embrace the concept of books and self-education. And, I thought that a formal education will make you a living but self-education can make you a fortune.

But I forgot the power of the status quo. The system surprised me.

I took $100 and made $10,000,000. I thought that sharing the story of growing up with a single mom in a trailer while my dad was prison… or my story of from living in a mobile home to a house in Beverly Hills - I thought that these stories might inspire those who feel lost, hopeless and forgotten.

But as you will learn when you rise up, the jealous/sensitive morons always lurk nearby ready to pick apart any perceived flaw in your success.

That is the bad news for what you have to expect in your life. But I have good news.

The best news is that out of the seemingly forgotten place will come a whole group of amazing people who support your vision for the world and will contribute to your goals.

So I say all this for one reason. Continue working towards your plan. Even when those closest to you betray you or let you down. But don't be afraid to change.

Change isn't your enemy. Change is progress. Become a learning machine. Finish what you have started. Stop procrastination. Stop being overly fearful. Pick up a book you have been meaning to read. Turn that idea in your head into a part time business to give you multiple sources of income. Send a nice gift to that friend who has always had your back. And most of all, move so confidently that eventually, your haters will start asking if you're hiring.

I agree with all the things you said, the only thing is that there's nothing new, the shit is like that since the begining of time
