I've been a member of the "gun culture", a phrase first coined by Smith and Wesson gun designer, John Ross, since I got out of the military. Years back, a writer posted a tongue in cheek letter to the "gun community" from the HK Marketing Department titled, "HK. Because you suck. And we hate you."

As I ponder what has been happening to Youtube, I think back on the that letter the writer posted about HK. Youtube is actually pushing away the very people who wanted so badly to see it succeed. Maybe that's why it hurts so much.
Today, we are going to try something different. ONWARD!
Have you tried Dtube also? It actually uses the same rewarding system that Steemit has. Eventually crowd will begin to form that will not be even checking Steemit - they'll just browse dTube and vote content there.
More ways to spend our voting power = more valuable Steem.

I'm glad that you're actually moving away from Youtube instead of just making videos complaining about it, and then uploading them to Youtube. Good on you!
I think because of all the issues with Dtube and Viewly being laggy, I'm going to still upload them to YT and then make them unlisted so you have to come to Steemit to watch them. As Dtube and Viewly get better, we can move completely and stop uploading to YT altogether.
