Petition to stop US president Donald trump to visit UK reaches million sign
A number of million signatories have risen staggeringly high since US has changed its immigration policy causing worldwide outrage.
Labour's Jeremy Corbyn urged the PM to postpone the visit. The petition is now the second leading on the government's website. MPs will discuss it on Tuesday. Mr Corbyn, who is supporting the petition, tweeted: "@Theresa_May would be failing the British people if she does not postpone the state visit & condemn Trump's actions in the clearest terms."
The petition put forward that Donald Trump should be allowed to enter the UK in his capacity as head of the US Government, but he should not be invited to make an official State Visit because it would cause embarrassment to Her Majesty the Queen.
