According to CID sources, the news has been told that the smuggled serpents were smuggled out of Bangladesh to 24 parganas and crossed the border. The exchange of poison in 24 parganas is about to be changed.
Based on this information, joint investigators of the Wild Life Crime Control Bureau and CID assaulted Barasat area.
Three people were detained at that time. The detainees are Amiya Das of Gaighata, Deepak Rai of Hariaghata and Arup Biswas. Snake poison has been recovered from the two glass containers from the detainees.
