5 most promising coins in 2018

Stratis is focused on simplifying the blockchain and it’s integration. Blockchain will be very big in 2018 so I am bullish on this.

$ETH / Ethereum
Ethereum, the father of alt-coins. Ethereum is a decentralized network/platform that runs smart contracts. Smart contracts allow for 2nd generation of technology inventions such as puzzle-based cryptocurrencies, digital governance, wills, auctions, virtual shares, ERC-20 tokens & much more.

$SC / Siacoin
Siacoin is a decentralized cloud storage platform based on the blockchain. It is 10X cheaper than Dropbox, and significantly safer since files are not stored in a centralized database.

$DGB / DigiByte
DigiByte has 15 second blocks, significantly quicker than Bitcoin and has much more uses. It is multi-blockchain and some include DigiShield, SegWit and MultiAlgo. They have a great team. DigiByte already has a lot of foundation projects. Has 3 layers, built on smart contracts and allows the possibility to build decentralized applications.

$ARDR / Ardor
Ardor is known as BaaS or Blockchain-as-a-service. It supports child-chains, both private or public, that can be made for businesses and others who would want their own chains, without having to develop it. Child chains on $ARDR will be able to use things like voting, phasing, trading, multi-sig security, encrypted transactions, a marketplace, and much more.

These are just a few, I’m holding over 25 but I can’t write about them all.

The Team. Who are they? What projects are they involved in? What are their backgrounds? Do they look like the type of people you’d trust your money with? Because that’s what you’re ultimately doing when you invest in a project.

The Market Penetration. How much of the market is left to acquire?

The Cryptoeconomics. What is the market capitalization of the project? What is the circulating/total supply? How much has been actively traded in the past 24h/7d? How is the mining structured? When does block difficulty increase? When do block rewards decrease? What proof consensus does the currency use?

The Token Distribution. How were the tokens distributed? Was it fair? Did the founders allocate 50% of pre-mine to themselves or did they actually recieve none and had to buy it themselves.

The Roadmap. What is the length of time? What does it focus on / prioritize? This will give you an idea of how far forward the team is looking, and what they will be focusing on.

The Product. Does it exist? Is it a prototype? In development? An already developed product will dissipate a lot of investor skepticism.
