Subbed. I'm a new Steemit user, I just migrated the other day. The latest purge pushed me over the edge. I can't believe Crowder was suspended for a parody video. This is like 2016 level stupidity all over again, people saying memes are racist and not being able to take jokes as anything but literal... I'm boycotting Youtube and Twitter. I'm encouraging friends and relatives to do the same.
It’s becoming so blatent that companies in the valley are trying to feed the libertarian narrative and it’s totallt infringed on free speech rights!
They are creating an echo chamber for messages their interests would like to push and not what is organic!
These social media sites have become so powerful and no one is questioning what they do or their intentions
It just shows centralized content and curatorship is not constructive any longer and we need to put the power and onus back into the hands of the people and free speech activisits from all walks of life
We HAVE to spread the word about DTube and Steemit outside of YouTube/Facebook! They're silencing the revolution and I feel we're not fighting strong enough.

YouTube has gotten increasingly boring since the purge started. Now there is just brainless mainstream garbage for the most part. If they do allow conspiracy type stuff to stick around it is usually because it is being made fun of or the watcher is insinuated to feel stupid for looking that stuff up on YouTube.

for microbloging use gnusocial,mastodon or pleroma its decentralized so people get banned on one instance they can join another
