Don't forget they contacted the FDA in the 80s to ban Stevia when it started getting popular because they just released their artificial sweetener Aspartame. Now that aspartame is losing favor and has been linked to cancer, Monsanto and 1 other company hold one of the only patents for purified Stevia. Imagine that.
Anything they can do to make themselves more money, and no matter how shady and cancerous it is, they will still do it. Remember the cigarette industry and oil industry both hired Doctor shills to tell the American people that cigarette smoke is safe and car fumes are safe, so imagine what Monsanto shill scientists are paid to propaganda.
