The world has to know it. The flood of the Orinoco River.

     Hi steemit community, today I want to talk oabut an event that is happening in my country, specifically in the city where i came from.

     For yesterday (08-24) the Orinoco River, the third longest and widest in the world, off the coast of the city where I was born, Cd. Bolívar, has passed the limit of the flowmeter reaching the elevation of 18.30 meters above sea level.

     Houses covered by water are the new visual panorama.

     Never in the history of my country had been so neglect on the part of our rulers, so far have not advocated to give any help to my countrymen who are identified by the flood of the river.

     They only do inspections to assess the damage that the river is growing.

     It continues raining in the area and at the head of the river, which supposes will continue increasing its flow and will continue taking everything in its path.

     Until the flooding of the river does not stop, the disaster will not stop, meanwhile, we pray that it has no greater consequence, let's help our brothers to keep faith and hope that this will end.
