Moped theft in London, what is the solution ?
Over the last several months Moped theft and moped enabled crime has become more a more of a problem thief’s are getting more violent an ruthless with many bikes being stolen while the owner is ridding , this is of concern because although you can do a lot more to secure the bike when not in use because on the rise in bike hijacks how does one prepare for that or mitigate against such as crime or attack. Thief’s have also been reported to use acid. The stolen bikes then tend to be sold on for parts or to facilitate other crimes
The bike community have expressed their frustration and there are talks of using bait bike's to lure and catch these thief and which point the may be subject to some vigilant justice
I would like to know what the steem community think about the issue please leave your comments and suggestions below

I like the bait bike idea, but is allows for things to quickly get out of hand and could pave the way for violence and the ironic thing is the person who laid out the bait bike may be liable for what ever happens to who try and steal it
