Venezuelan soccer team U-20 refuses to be received by the president in Miraflores / La sub 20 Vinotinto se niega a ser recibida por el presidente en Miraflores.

Hi Steemers  share this news that many of you may not know, but it is important for all those who are aware of the situation in Venezuela,   today June 14  the soccer team of Venezuelan U-20 came to national territory  after having participated in the U-20 World Cup in South Korea,  consecrating as sub-champions of that competition.   Most of the time  in Venezuela the selections participating in international tournaments  upon arrival in the country are received by the president in Miraflores ( Government seat of Venezuela),  where an act is performed, with a lot of protocol and sometimes the  government gives things to athletes. All in a political act to try to clean up a bit the government image. 

 But what happened this time? 

 In the official  account of the selection U20 was announced the celebration that would be  realized in a university stadium and not in the seat of the government.

  (Translation: We invite everyone to the UCV Olympic Stadium today at 05:00 p.m. To the well-deserved homage that will receive the #Vinotinto U-20 We are waiting for you! )

 Which means that  the selection rejected the traditional invitation of the head of state,  it was speculating that this could happen but it was not until today  that it was officially announced that they would NOT attend the  government palace. 

 The Venezuelan soccer team  U20 made a historic feat for the first time in the history of the  country as world sub-champion in this category, defeating great rivals  like Mexico, Germany, Uruguay and England.

Why did they refuse the president's invitation? 

 It is speculated  that like most of the Venezuelan population they are not in favor of  the policies of the current government, or they prefer not to politicize  their achievements and to be remembered in an impartial way. 

 Currently there  is a large division in the country where it is difficult not to be on  one side this could be considered an act of rebellion towards the  government in support of the demonstrators or as I said earlier an  attempt to remain impartial.

      Hola Steemers  comparto esta noticia que muchos de ustedes quizás no saben, pero es importante  para todos aquellos que están al tanto de la situación en Venezuela,  hoy el 14 de junio el equipo de fútbol  sub-20 venezolano llegó al  territorio nacional después de haber participado en la  Copa del Mundo Sub-20 realizada en Corea del Sur, consagrándose como sub-campeones de esa competición. La  mayoría de las veces en Venezuela las selecciones que participan en  torneos internacionales al llegar al país son recibidas por el  presidente en Miraflores, donde se realiza un acto, con mucho protocolo  y a veces (la mayoría de las veces) el gobierno da cosas a los atletas . Todo en un acto político para tratar de limpiar un poco la imagen del gobierno. 

 Pero, ¿qué pasó esta vez?
En  la cuenta oficial de la selección U20 se anunció la celebración que se  realizaría en un estadio universitario (el de la Universidad Central de Venezuela) y no en la sede del gobierno. 

      Lo que significa  que la selección rechazó la invitación tradicional del presidente,  se especulaba que esto podría suceder, pero no fue hasta hoy que se anunció  oficialmente que no asistirían al palacio del gobierno.
Lavinotinto Sub- 20 hizo una hazaña histórica por primera  vez en la historia del país como subcampeón mundial en esta categoría,  derrotando a grandes rivales como México, Alemania, Uruguay e  Inglaterra. 

 ¿Por qué rechazaron la invitación del presidente?
     Se  especula que como la mayoría de la población venezolana no están a  favor de las políticas del actual gobierno, o prefieren no politizar sus  logros y ser recordados de manera imparcial.
Actualmente  hay una gran división en el país donde es difícil no estar de un lado  esto podría ser considerado un acto de rebelión hacia el gobierno en  apoyo de los manifestantes o como dije anteriormente un intento de  permanecer imparcial.
