Kimi no Na Wa (Your Name) which tells about the struggle of Taki and Mitsuha to be able to meet is a film by Makoto Shinkai and CoMix Wave Films which received a positive response and is the most successful anime film for the last few years. While Makoto Shinkai developed the latest idea for the next film, CoMix Wave announced that they will be working on the latest anime movie.

Through the latest trailer announced by CoMix Wave on its official Youtube, the movie will be titled Shiki Oriori (Weaving Poems of the Seasons). What is unique about this one movie is this time the anime movie made by CoMix Wave will be set in China, not in Japan. Three places that became the setting in the anime this time are Hunan, Guangzhou and Shanghai. CoMix Wave also works with Studio Haoliners, which has previously collaborated with other Japanese studios.

Shiki Oriori is an anthology film that is divided into three parts with different stories and directors. "Sunny Breakfast" tells the story of a young man who remembers his childhood in Hunan, the "Little Fashion Show" tells the story of two siblings who lived in the same apartment after their parents died, and "Shanghai Love", which dates back to the 1990s where a pair of boys -laki and women live in the same complex, until one of them has to move.

The Shiki Oriori project is CoMix Wave's first project with another director after a long time working under Makoto Shinkai's supervision. Will this one movie get a positive response like the previous movies?
