RE: The War on Consciousness (A practical guide to thinking for yourself)

in #news7 years ago

First of all, thanks for the comment, and you are so right when you say "A few of us remember to think before we act".

We just have a misunderstanding. No big deal. This post is only about a mindset shift that allows for greater and more significant action to be taken in life.

Impartiality is just the means and not an end in itself. The principle of looking at both sides impartially is the container we need to use when interacting with the world. My post is just about creating this container of (impartiality), and using it as a tool to navigate your reality.

We both completely agree though, that action is everything. If two groups of people consistently had, on both sides of their communities, a majority of people who adopt the philosophy of interpreting their beliefs as a filter of understanding reality, then action must take place through communication, through non-violent dialogue and not through violence (which I understand is very popular in the world right now).

I'll definitely try to explain myself in a better context next time, and should have added a section on Action. But it would have taken up way too much space in this post.

Thanks again for being skeptical, and testing this viewpoint with hard questions, because that is how we all grow to understand each other.

I appreciate your openness to constructive criticism and questions - you should know i think you did a good job communicating in your original post, and if you try to delimit your argument more (or state that you'll flesh out a specific aspect more in the future) you can help your audience focus more on the specific message you're trying to send.
