Man held after two knives found at Holborn Underground station

Two knives have been recovered after a man was arrested at a Tube station in central London.

Holborn station has been closed as a precaution, British Transport Police said. The central line has warned of "severe delays".

A suspicious item is being assessed by "specialist teams".

Officers were called shortly after 4pm over reports of a man "in possession of a knife on board a Central Line train".

The incident is not believed to be terror-related.
