![]()
This week, Rhode Island Representative David Cicilline announced that he introduced a bill to Congress that would effectively ban semi-automatic weapons. Over 150 Democrats have signed on to support the legislation according to a Tweet from Rep. Ted Deutch of Florida.
In the fine print of the legislation, 205 weapons are specifically named for the ban, including the AK-47 and AR-15.
85 Years Ago Today, Hitler Carried Out a “False Flag” Showing How Gov’t Can Control With Lies and Fear
On this date, 85 years ago, the headquarters for the German parliament, known as the Reichstag building, was burned down due to arson. Immediately after the fires, the Nazis passed a piece of tyrannical legislation called the “decree for the protection of state and people,” which gave them total police state control over the population.
The fires were blamed on Hitler’s political rivals, which allowed the regime to be extremely aggressive against anyone they deemed to be their enemies. However, many historians believe that it was actually the Nazi party who started the fire, in a plot to control the masses through fear.
IKEA To Begin Selling "At-Cost" Home Solar Panel Systems For Under $10,000
Swedish furniture manufacturer IKEA recently announced a plan to sell “at-cost” home solar panel systems that will range from $7,500 – $10,000. The offer is slowly rolling out in different markets and is already available in different parts of Europe and Japan. This week, IKEA Australia boss Jan Gardberg announced that the solar panels will soon be sold in his region as well.
Bill Gates Thinks Cryptocurrency Is Killing People 'In a Fairly Direct Way'
In a recent AMA on Reddit, Bill Gates made some very negative comments about cryptocurrency, saying that the technology "causes deaths in a very direct way." Answering a question about his thoughts on cryptocurrency, Gates said:
The main feature of crypto currencies is their anonymity. I don’t think this is a good thing. The Governments ability to find money laundering and tax evasion and terrorist funding is a good thing. Right now crypto currencies are used for buying fentanyl and other drugs so it is a rare technology that has caused deaths in a fairly direct way. I think the speculative wave around ICOs and crypto currencies is super risky for those who go long.
The reactions to his comments were awesome, with many people pointing out that the US dollar, and even Microsoft itself, is guilty of funding terrorism.
Supreme Court Decides Immigrants Can Be Detained Indefinitely
Bad news has come down from the Supreme Court this week, in the ongoing battle for the human rights of immigrants living within the borders of the United States government. This Tuesday, the court ruled that any immigrant can be held indefinitely without trial or charges, even if they have permanent legal status or are seeking asylum. The decision came down in a 5-3 ruling and reverses an earlier appeal which granted immigrants the right to be given a bond hearing every six months.
Man Arrested Days After He Told The Media About Local Sheriff's Corruption
Last week, we reported on the story of various Sheriffs from the state of Alabama, who were caught pocketing over $110,000 in taxpayer money that was allocated for feeding inmates in local county jails. In that story, we quoted a statement that a local landscaper by the name of Matt Qualls gave to AL.com, where he said that he was paid to mow Sheriff Todd Entrekin’s lawn with checks that were originally written out to the county jail food fund. Just days after his statement was published he was arrested on multiple counts, including trumped-up drug trafficking charges.
Police claim they received an “anonymous tip” that a Rainbow City apartment smelled like marijuana. Police came in full-force with a whole team of officers who were able to force themselves into the apartment when one of Quall’s friends opened the door. Once inside, the police found a very small amount of actual marijuana but found of two pounds of marijuana butter, a mixture where other ingredients are responsible for the majority of the weight. They are now attempting to charge him with possession and trafficking of two pounds of marijuana.
WATCH: Hypocrite Police Chief Brags He Can Smoke Weed As They Arrest Others For It
Lumberton, MS – Police Chief Shane Flynt was recently suspended after a video surfaced showing him obviously intoxicated while smoking cannabis and making jokes about how he was the coolest cop in town. The video shows Flynt smoking a pipe which he repeatedly says is filled with cannabis. In the video, it looks like Flynt is having a good time and not hurting anyone, yet his department arrests innocent people on a regular basis for doing the exact same thing.
The state of Mississippi incarcerates thousands of people every year for simply possessing this plant. Yet this police chief brags about doing it with impunity. To be clear, we are advocating for the chief to be able to use cannabis in his free time. However, if he thinks his officers can arrest people for it, while he uses it, he’s a hypocrite.
Solar Powered Floating Farm Could Provide 9855 Tons Of Food Per Year
As solar energy is quickly rising in efficiency and lowering in price, more creative solutions are being devised to fully bring this technology into widespread mainstream use. One possible idea that opens many possibilities for solar power, is solar farms that actually float on water. According to recent reports, one company named Forward Thinking Architecture from Barcelona, Spain is taking this idea a step further, by farming food as well as energy from the sun. The company has estimated that their project will yield at least 8,152 tons of vegetables a year and 1,703 tons of fish a year.
Trump Says He Wants Drug Dealers To Face The Death Penalty
https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=5&v=jKHfrHJA-uE
Earlier this week, it was reported that Donald Trump was in favor of giving drug dealers the death penalty, in response to the very serious opiate addiction problem in the United States. In an interview with Axios last week, an anonymous source close to Trump said that he was in favor of the approach that governments in the Philippines and Singapore have taken in the drug war.
“He says, ‘When I ask the prime minister of Singapore do they have a drug problem [the prime minister replies,] ‘No. Death penalty’. He often jokes about killing drug dealers… He’ll say, ‘You know the Chinese and Filipinos don’t have a drug problem. They just kill them,” the source told Axios.
Because of the fact that there were no official sources, the severity of Trump’s comments were disregarded by many, but just days later, Trump gave a speech at the White House where he confirmed these accusations, saying that drug dealers should face “the ultimate penalty.”

It's not okay, everybody is equal before the law, the law that abuse police is the same law that abide civilians
Thank you
Nice post

Cryptocurrency is a welcome development. Any attempt to discredit it is a foul. The challenges that it poses can be handle or fixed. Most people discrediting speak for themselves not considering its undeniable advantage.
This is like the first time I have had cause to oppose the thoughts of the tech mogul. Bill Gates overly focuses on a single flaw of cryptos to make it seem like the 'devil's plaything'. I only expect this kind of reaction to cryptos from financial intermediaries like Banks, and not tech magnates like Microsoft, who should be making billions of dollars from investing in this profitable trend, particularly through mining and other transactions.
