United States Entering Into a "Holy War"? An Editorial Opinion...
Trump making this decision to move the US embassy to Jerusalem has allowed the United States to symbolically pick a side, in what is essentially, a religious war of the three largest Abrahamic religions. It's a very delicate policy issue for us (as a secular nation) to just interject ourselves into. Especially for us to do so in such a cavalier fashion... The repercussions could be devastating for all sides, and potentially have very serious, global consequences...
One of the things that I enjoy about living in the United States is that we don't fight religious wars... Unfortunately, it appears as though that might be changing...
