Governor Invites KNPI Contributes in Reducing Aceh Poverty Rate
Banda Aceh - Governor of Aceh, Drh Irwandi Yusuf M Sc, called on the board of the Aceh National Youth Committee (KNPI) to synergize with the Government of Aceh in order to suppress the poverty rate in Aceh which is still at 18.6 percent.
The appeal was conveyed by the man who was familiarly called Won Bang, while receiving the visit of Chairman of KNPI Aceh, Wahyu Saputra along with the board of KNPI Aceh, in Aceh Governor Working Room on Thursday (2/11/2017) afternoon.
"Currently Aceh's poverty rate is still very high, even the highest in Sumatra or sixth highest in Indonesia. I challenge KNPI to provide input and program ideas that can help the Government of Aceh reduce poverty, "said the Governor.
As is known, the Government of Aceh period 2017-2022 target will reduce poverty rate by 1 percent per year. Therefore the Governor invites all elements of society with each discipline to help, both lagsung meupun indirectly.
"Employers can open jobs. Well, the youth who joined in the KNPI certainly can contribute suggestions and inputs to the Government of Aceh in the form of programs that can intervene on indicators that affect the poverty rate, "said the Governor.
In a meeting that took place with such intimacy, Bang Wandi also get Kaos Gowes from the Chairman of KNPI Aceh.
"This is a Gowes T-shirt that we routinely carry out Pak, we hope our routine gowes can help the program to socialize sports and cultivate the community and support the Aceh Government program, Aceh Teuga," said Wahyu.
"Thank you," said the governor briefly, while hanging the gown of the Chairman's KNPI grant to his shoulders. Unusual spontaneous action from the number one person in Aceh, of course, makes the whole room laugh and melt the atmosphere.
On the occasion, Wahyu invited the Governor of Aceh to attend the inauguration night of Chairman and Management of KNPI Aceh period 2017-2020, which will take place on Saturday (11/11) night.
Wahyu also explained that KNPI Aceh will host the National Congress of KNPI, which will be held in October 2018. "KNPI board in Indonesia will be present in Aceh at the congress. Therefore we are looking forward to support from the Government of Aceh for the success of the 2018 KNPI Congress, "said Wahyu.
Responding to the request from the board of KNPI Aceh, the Governor promised to support every positive youth activity.
