Ecuador to tighten borders to prevent Venezuela refugees
Ecuador has imposed restrictions on the border to prevent Venezuelan refugees. To enter Ecuador, Venezuela's citizens will have to show the passport instead of the ID card.

About 10 million immigrants have entered Colombia in the last 15 months. According to official information, about 4,500 people on every day of Venezuela go to Ecuador on the border every day. After several weeks of wartime, they reached the border area after a couple of weeks. Ecuador arrests nearly 300 Venezuelans, because there was no passport on Saturday.
Ecuadorian Foreign Minister said this year about six million people have entered Venezuela from his country. One hundred thousand of them are from Ecuador. The country fears the deterioration of the law and order situation under the pressure of immigrants.
Earlier, in February, Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos decided to impose a ban on the border. After the news, thousands of Venezuelan citizens rushed to the border.
After this, Brazil has stopped the border to prevent refugees this month. A judge in Brazil ordered the closure of the border with Venezuela. Held Barreto, the judge said, "As long as our country is not fit enough to handle the burden of excesses, the border with Venezuela will not be launched until then."
