The former boxer lands in hot waters yet again, Receiving death threats for wishing others on their festivals.
The debate is not over whether Amir Khan should have Christmas tree or not. The Christmas tree has no significance with Christianity and there is no Holy Scripture in The Holy Bible which tells us to decorate Malls, Shops, or Homes with Christmas Trees. The evergreen tree was an ancient symbol of life in the midst of winter. Romans decorated their houses with evergreen branches during the New Year, and ancient inhabitants of northern Europe cut evergreen trees and planted them in boxes inside their houses in wintertime. Many early Christians were hostile to such practices. So kindly DO NOT equate Christmas Tree with Christianity.
